Job Overview:
Duties:
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods onto the delivery vehicle.
- Safely handle and transport items to designated locations.
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks to move heavy items.
- Communicate effectively with the delivery driver to coordinate deliveries.
- Help with navigating routes and ensuring ontime deliveries.
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience working in a warehouse or delivery environment preferred.
- Knowledge of operating box trucks or similar delivery vehicles.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks for moving goods efficiently.
- Understanding of load/unload procedures for safe handling of items.
- Commercial driving experience is beneficial for this role.
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
