Private Duties:


Escape In Time; Madison's only fully immersive Escape Room complex is hiring Part-Time employees to work approx
20-31 hours per week during regular operating hours on
Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (Please see
SHIFT AVAILABILITIES for details).

We are looking for high-energy applicants that can offer great customer service along with the ability to work well as a team


UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE:

At
Escape In Time we offer a fun work environment and strive to provide an exciting and memorable experience for each of our customers.


ATTIRE:

Dressing up in futuristic style; with temporary tattoos, face gems, and high fashion makeup is required - an edgy style with brightly colored hair or wigs is a plus (temp tattoos and face gems provided).


Below are a few of the main tasks required from our "Operations Recruits"

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Greeting and checking in customers upon arrival.
  • Providing information to guests regarding booking details, room information, etc...
  • Selling gift certificates.
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
  • Providing guests with rules, orientations, room introductions, and explaining their goals for their adventure.
  • Resetting rooms after each gameplay.
  • Fixing minor broken props and decor.
  • Monitoring and assisting guests by providing clues and guidance throughout their game over a handsfree intercom.

What we're looking for:

Do you have retail, sales, scheduling, hospitality or theme park experience?:

  • Do you have an
    outgoing, energetic personality?
  • Are you able to
    follow checklists, and proper procedures?
  • Are you able to efficiently learn new software, and are familiar with apple products?

Are you able to stand/sit, walk/crawl, bend, and lift over 30 lbs?:

  • Have you used an electric drill, screwdriver, or other handheld tools? If not,
    are you willing to learn?:
  • Do you have your
    high school diploma, or GED? And are you
    at least 18 years old?
  • Do you have
    reliable transportation, other than the bus/taxi/Uber/Lyft?

SHIFT AVAILABILITIES (approx 20-31 hours per week). Employees required to work a *Saturday shift each week, as that is our busiest day. We are mostly looking for Fridays/Saturdays with the ability to fill-in on other shifts.


We staff the following hours:

  • Thursday: 11:45am 9:30pm (busier after 3pm)
  • Friday: 11:45am 9:30pm (busier after 3pm)
- *Saturday: 10:30am - 9:30pm (busiest day)

  • Sunday: 10:30am 7:30pm




IMPORTANT:
we are closed to the public Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays and are not offering any hours on those days

Position Purpose:

The Private works with customers, staff and vendors for varying business needs.

This position directly reports to the Operations Specialists, AOM, and MOD.

The Private is skilled in any operation related job duties, such as check in, customer inquiries, prop issues, rounds, customer service, room flips, calm checks, weeklies, general appearance and cleanliness of the business, etc., to assure an impeccable customer experience.
