Regular Schedule: 39 hours per week
A Non-Merit vacancy exists in the Bureau of Clinical Services, Division of Center Based Services, Department of Health and Human Services.
A list of eligible applicants will be established based on the examination as outlined below.
Current and future vacancies occurring in any Office or Department of Baltimore County General Government may be filled from the list of eligible applicants
Examples of Duties:
Under general supervision, supervises and participates in coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory, fulfilling supply requests from health centers, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Assists in the receipt, storage, and delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Prepares materials and supplies for distribution to health centers.
- Maintains inventory accounting records of supplies received and issued.
- Initiates purchases of supplies under various schedules.
- Independently operates a storeroom.
- Processes and forwards invoices and documentation to the Office of Budget and Finance for payment.
- Codifies all items according to various inventory systems.
Examples of Other Duties
- Assumes the duties of the supervisor in his/her absence.
- Operates a manual forklift when required
- Performs other related duties as required.

Possession of a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent
PLUS
Four years' storekeeping or warehousing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Licenses and Certificates
Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a non-commercial, class C Maryland driver's license is required at the time of appointment.
Character Requirements
Some positions may require applicants to undergo a comprehensive background investigation, polygraph examination, and drug test.
Proof of Licenses, Certifications and Education
Applicants are required to submit proof of licenses, certifications and education beyond high school to meet the required and preferred qualifications of the position.
Diplomas or transcripts must show the applicant's major field of study. Copies and unofficial transcripts are acceptable.Proof of Degree Equivalency

Examination Procedure
Conditions of Employment:
Employees hired after July 1, 2022 are required to participate in the Baltimore County Employees' Retirement System, with very limited exceptions.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
The work of this classification entails walking, lifting, carrying, travel between work sites and other physical activities.
Medical Examination and Employment Background Investigation
Applicants selected for an appointment to a position in Baltimore County must successfully complete a physical examination and drug screen and an employment background investigation, including, but not limited to a criminal background, education, and fingerprint check.
