    ProRehab Physical Therapy is looking for a Full-Time Front Desk Medical floating Receptionist. This individual must be motivated and a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with people. Our practice is passionate about patient care, and we are looking for someone who is detailed, organized & reliable with previous front office experience.

    **A summary of job responsibilities includes:**

    Front desk scheduling

    Greeting patients, and checking them in and out for appointments

    Answering phones and email inquiries

    Collecting co-pays and other fees required prior to office visits

    Obtaining pre-authorizations for patient visits

    Insurance re-verifications

    Data entry, running reports, auditing and filing

    Maintaining the front desk and reception areas

    Patient and physician interaction on the phone, and in-person.

    Managing, updating, and charting patient records in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system

    Additional duties as assigned

    This unique position will allow you to work with a variety of patients floating in our North Evansville locations. This would include the following locations:

    1st Ave

    Haubstadt

    Oakland City

    Poseyville

    Vincennes

    Previous medical/dental front office, administrative, customer service, or front office experience is a definite must. History of working with insurance benefits, pre-authorization, and approval is preferred. If this sounds exciting to you, and you have previous front office experience, we would love to meet you

    **Requirements:**

    Working knowledge of insurance benefits, deductibles, co-payments related to the delivery of medical care

    Previous administrative or other professional office experience in a medical setting preferred

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office equipment

    Good writing and communication skills

    Ability to work under pressure and remain friendly and professional.

    Ability and willingness to treat all patients with the utmost kindness and consideration in the most trying situations.

    Friendly personality with the desire to work with the public.

    Ability to prioritize and follow up on completion of tasks.

    Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic status.
