Description

The Managing Director-Acquisitions contributes to the success of the organization by providing support and assistance to each Development Partner on design and project coordination for multi-family acquisitions in the assigned region.

Typically handling multiple projects, associates in this role effectively communicate with management, development, and design teams to ensure profitability of assigned assets.

Associates in this role are responsible for communicating directly with executive leadership regarding asset management/performance, finance and strategic matters.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or related field required; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in multifamily real estate development, acquisition and or finance.
  • General knowledge of the real estate and development industry.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and
positively with other Associates.

  • Ability to have flexibility with working schedule based on business and deadline needs.
  • Ability to work a schedule during normal work hours and that may be other than Monday-Friday, 85. Work in excess of 40 hours per week is likely.
  • Consistent, regular and in person attendance during regular working hours at the workplace is required.
