Description
This Lead position will be responsible for supervising a team of quality inspectors in the facility and occasionally at suppliers and customers.
Expectations High school diploma or equivalent CQI certified or equivalent preferred Supervisory experience is preferred Eight + years of manufacturing welding and fabrication environment required Five + years quality inspection experience in AS9100 or ISO9001 environment is required This is a safety-sensitive position; the candidate must complete and pass a background check and a ten-panel drug /alcohol testing Must have computer skills.

Safety, Commitment, and TeamResponsibilities Lead the Quality Control team ensuring adherence to all Quality Management System policies and procedures Supervisor 1-5 direct reports and 0 indirect reports Authority to stop production if serious product defects are present and notify management Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff.Create inspection plans from design and manufacturing documents Manage measuring equipment calibration system Execute inspection plans ensuring project quality requirements are achieved Engage in product testing activities throughout production cycles.
Instruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures. Administer the tracking of defects, test results, or other reported quality control data. Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality.
