- Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on retail products and equipment at customer sites
- Keep track of your service calls via computer, ability to perform service on various video products, EAS equipment, and RFID equipment
- Maintain an accurate parts inventory at levels that ensure a first-time fix
- Demonstrate and train customers how to use their equipment properly
- Keep your manager informed about customer satisfaction, potential sales opportunities, or recurring problems
- Perform other necessary tasks
- High School Diploma or GED, 2 years Associates degree in Electronics – preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- General knowledge of electronics
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Capable of performing physical labor and lifting equipment up to 50-70 lbs
- Willingness to work in various physical positions and heights
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and PC skills
- Confident, articulate, and professional communication skills
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
- Capability to review plans, diagrams, and flow charts
- Completion of Basic EAS/Video new hire classroom certifications
- Completion of RFID Basic Certification
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve complex issues
