PARTS DRIVER - Reports to the PARTS Manager:
Qualifications

Education
High school diploma or the equivalent.


Other
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Professional personal appearance.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

Job-Specific Expectations
Delivery & pickup of parts to customers, stores & vendors

Delivery of misc errands as requested and needed

Unload truck each night. Turn in undelivered parts

Turn in all paperwork, receipts, and cash each day

Secure keys before leaving every day

Accept and follow through on lawful directions from supervisors.

Be polite and friendly, greet customers promptly and deliver exceptional customer service.


Ability to work the parts counter if necessary as backup

  • Take & fill orders for service technicians promptly and efficiently, helping service techs as needed to determine which parts & accessories are required for each job
  • Communicate with the service technicians to verify that your department is meeting their parts & accessory needs
  • Provide information regarding the cost of parts required on repair orders
  • Inform service personnel when back ordered or special order parts are rec'd
  • Work with the parts Manager and aid in reaching set goals for profitability & sales of parts
  • Work with the parts manager in ordering, stocking & pulling parts orders
  • Work with customer to determine parts needs.
  • Periodically carry out physical inventory of merchandise
