    Description


    Purpose and Job SummaryLument, a subsidiary of ORIX USA, provides comprehensive capital solutions for multifamily, affordable, seniors and health care real estate.

    Lument provides its clients, which include both tax-exempt and for-profit organizations, private equity backed firms, REITs, investors, and lenders, with a full suite of financing and strategic solutions.

    This includes mortgage banking, a variety of direct balance sheet lending options, private equity, investment banking and mergers and acquisitions.

    The FP&A team provides direct support to the senior management team in the areas of planning, forecasting, reporting and strategic analysis.

    The Business Analyst is a key member of the team, improving efficiency to existing processes by developing and implementing technology solutions as well as providing ongoing support.

    Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements to develop and implement technology solutions to improve the efficiency of existing reporting and other processes.

    Provide ongoing support to end users for various applications including Oracle ERP/EPM, Power BI, in-house CRM database, and in-house data warehouse.

    Support compensation planning and administration, including implementation of third-party commission tool.
    Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
    Support ad-hoc and strategic projects.
    Maintain documentation regarding various processes and solutions.
    Serve as liaison between FP&A, business users, and technology teams across the organization.
    Staying up-to-date on the latest IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

    ContactsThis position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management, and will be expected to professionally communicate internally and potentially externally with individuals at various levels of the organization.

    Education, Skills, & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology or related field required. CPA or MBA a plus.
    Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst role.

    Experienced in Power BI solutions design, DAX, SQL Queries, SQL Server Reporting, SQL Integration Services and Excel Power Query and Power Pivot.

    Proven ability to design and implement technology solutions that automate, streamline, and enhance financial reporting and business analysis.
    Hands-on experience with data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.
    Knowledge of GAAP accounting and corporate finance concepts.
    Experience in real estate and/or financial services sectors preferred.
    Experience working with Oracle EPM and ERP software preferred.
    Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
    Must have consistently high attention to detail.
    Results driven individual who can operate with autonomy in leveraging data and problem-solving skills.
    Able to work effectively under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
    A great attitude and strong work ethic.


    Annual base salary gross:
    $85,000 - $95,000 (NY only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the ORIX USA's salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX USA's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include cash bonuses, long term incentives, health insurance, accident and life insurance, and retirement benefits.
