Hello I have a daycare located in New Rochelle.

I'm looking to hire a loving, fun and energetic person for 4 days a week The hours differ but approximately 9 to 9.5 hours a day.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our team. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being of children, and promoting their social and educational development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the supervision and care of children in a daycare setting
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
• Engage children in ageappropriate activities to promote their physical, cognitive, and social development
• Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up
• Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed
• Monitor children for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the daycare supervisor
• Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a smooth operation of daily activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility

Skills:

• Previous experience in nannying, daycare setting or babysitting is preferred
• Ability to work well with children of different ages and backgrounds
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members
• Ability to multitask and handle classroom management effectively
