    RECEPTIONIST

    Position Purpose

    The role of a Receptionist is vital in ensuring smooth communication within the business. Duties include handling incoming calls efficiently, greeting visitors, assisting with mail handling, and maintaining office records.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Manage incoming phone calls and direct callers appropriately.
    • Welcome and assist visitors promptly.
    • Handle mail distribution and maintain office schedules.
    • Communicate professionally with callers, visitors, and colleagues.
    • Ensure office appearance is always neat and organized.
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and report generation.
    • Update phone system and manage sales staff mailboxes.
    • Maintain employee lists and handle incoming mail efficiently.
    • Track and record office packages and maintain customer information confidentiality.
    • Adhere to dress code policy and ensure showroom is in top condition.
    • Exhibit the company culture and promote accountability within the department.
    Skills and Abilities

    Complexity:

    Ability to work with clear guidelines and seek guidance when needed.

    Communication Skills:

    Aptitude for reading and interpreting business documents and engaging effectively with various stakeholders.

    Capability to handle basic mathematical calculations and apply concepts as required.

    Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations and monetary calculations.

    Competence in using essential office software tools.

    Required to handle customer interactions effectively and uphold company policies.

    Basic office equipment operation.

    Educational Requirements
