RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup and break down rooms utilizing infection control procedures.
- Room patients and review questionnaires for completion and clarity.
- Review financial estimate prepared by insurance team.
- Take Dental CT X-Ray (training provided).
- Accompany healthcare providers during patient encounters to accurately document physical examinations, and treatment plans.
- Enter medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems in realtime.
- Take digital impressions of teeth and bite (training provided).
- Provide patient education on oral appliance insertion, removal, cleaning etc. (training provided).
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a medical scribe, dental/ortho assistant, or medical assistant with expanded duties, or social worker is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures in the specific field (e.g., Sleep Medicine or Dentistry) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient typing skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus.
DETAILS:
- Travel between to different offices is required: Lombard or Homer Glen AND Chicago is required.
- Reliable vehicle is required.

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
