Description

• Setup and break down rooms utilizing infection control procedures.
• Room patients and review questionnaires for completion and clarity.
• Review financial estimate prepared by insurance team.
• Take Dental CT X-Ray (training provided).
• Accompany healthcare providers during patient encounters to accurately document physical examinations, and treatment plans.
• Enter medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems in realtime.
• Take digital impressions of teeth and bite (training provided).
• Provide patient education on oral appliance insertion, removal, cleaning etc. (training provided).
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation.

• Previous experience as a medical scribe, dental/ortho assistant, or medical assistant with expanded duties, or social worker is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures in the specific field (e.g., Sleep Medicine or Dentistry) is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient typing skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus.

• Travel between to different offices is required: Lombard or Homer Glen AND Chicago is required.
• Reliable vehicle is required.
