- Functions as a liaison for the research department conducted through the Research and all other departments
- Schedules for Research, Cardiac MRI, Cardiac PET and Cardiac CT
- Communicates effectively with patients and staff. Generates reports for imaging procedures in expeditious manner
- Collects pertinent information and clinical data through medical records while maintaining patient confidentiality. Reviews and analyzes source documentation to enter onto case report forms or electronic database as directed by Research RN
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner, interacting with individuals in an age-appropriate manner, screens and directs calls, recording messages for personnel. Distributes and delivers mail, fed-ex and all packages and greets patients if necessary . Prints and files all appropriate sponsor correspondence via emai
- Retrieves medical records, and media for angiography, radiology, echocardiography, EKG and procedural reports from appropriate departments for research patient records and/or submission to appropriate core labs
- Maintains office equipment and supplies to include but not limited to computer, facsimile and Xerox, ordering supplies and scheduling maintenance as needed
- Utilizes Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for office files and coordination and organization including tracking of enrolled subjects, follow-up requirements, financial
