Pivot Tutors is looking for
an experienced test prep tutor who can provide quality instruction and support for
ACT/SAT English, Reading, and Essay sections.
Previous high school tutoring/teaching experience is required.

ABOUT YOU:
If you're the right tutor for our team, YOU
- have experience tutoring in grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and/or test prep: AP exams, ACT, and/or SAT.

- are an expert in rhetoric, grammar, and composition.

- enjoy mentoring high school students.
- are skilled at breaking complex sentences and ideas down into manageable parts.
- make learning fun and are a confident teacher.
- want a rewarding job that allows you to use your education and experience.
- have a
minimum of 1 year of recent English tutoring/teaching experience (required).
- have access to
a laptop (with screen annotation capabilities) and reliable internet connection (required).
ABOUT THE POSITION:
- Parttime position hours)
- Currently, a remote position (with the expectation to work out of the Pivot Tutors office in Sorrento Valley once inperson tutoring resumes)
- Paid tutor training is provided.
- Potential for Benefits and 401K
- Salary: $2030/hour depending on background and experience
- Position starts ASAP
