  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
  • Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
  • Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Have familiarity with relational database concepts and clientserver concepts.
  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks across workstreams.
  • Utilize a wide degree of creativity and latitude to problem solve.
  • Capture stakeholder and SME feedback on Performance Measures and support functional requirementgathering for data visualizations.
  • Support the office in DON annual reporting to DoD, including managing its stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the available knowledge management platforms in the Department of the Navy (DON) and OPNAV (e.g., Flank Speed, MSFT SharePoint, MS Teams, Power BI); provide recommendations for knowledge management processes.

Qualifications:

Skills/Qualifications:


  • Understanding of DoD organization(s)—preferably Navy—structure, leadership, culture, and how to affect change in this environment.
  • Comfortable working with senior leaders and demonstrated writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to produce briefing slides, metric charts, program schedules, and organizational charts.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical experience in a client environment.

Education and Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.


Clearance Requirements:
This position requires an active
SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.


Work Location:
Work is performed on government site at the Pentagon and via telework. Employees will work in close proximity with Government personnel.
