    Description

    Piedmont Healthcare is currently recruiting a board-certified OB/GYN physician to support patients living in the northern communities in proximity to our Piedmont Athens Regional location in Athens, Ga .

    The obstetrics and gynecology program at Piedmont Athens is growing daily and employs many physicians as well as APP/midwives and nurses.

    In addition, several independent ob/gyn groups also support the hospital.

    With more than 2,500 deliveries each year and a NICU, Piedmont Athens offers parents-to-be comprehensive maternity care, from classes to prepare for childbirth to OB hospitalist physicians in the hospital twenty-four hours a day.

    Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is a rapidly growing bed facility which offers comprehensive healthcare services to a large part of northeast Georgia.

    We have an excellent staff who prioritize quality and service as a Trauma 2 facility.

    The community is a college town (home to the University of Georgia) with a vibrant economy and a diverse culture.
