Position Overview:


The Outside Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in securing new clients for our linen, workwear, industrial uniforms, and facility services.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and closely collaborating with the Plant's General Manager, this role involves proactive identification, solicitation, and motivation of targeted prospects within the designated sales territory.


Responsibilities:

Utilize various methods including cold-calling, drop-ins, lead qualifying, and presentations to identify and motivate prospects.

Maintain accurate sales records and complete new client paperwork efficiently.

Meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.

Adhere to company sales policies and procedures.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless transitions for new clients.

Stay updated with industry trends and company policies through training and attendance at sales conferences.

Conduct thorough client research, tailor sales materials, and leverage available resources for client appointments.

Execute follow-up meetings to complete the sales process.

Coordinate with production and service teams to meet client timelines and deliverables.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum 3+ years of business-to-business outside sales experience, preferably in service sales.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with contact-management software preferred.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, driving, lifting up to 30 lbs, and other typical activities.

Environmental conditions may vary from office settings to customer locations and industrial laundry facilities.


Travel Requirements:

Daily travel within the designated sales territory, with occasional regional and national sales conferences.
