Overview:
Duties:
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for construction projects
- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine the scope of work
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop comprehensive bids
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget constraints
- Review and analyze contracts to understand project requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using estimating software like HeavyBid and Bluebeam
- Ability to build accurate cost estimates based on project specifications
- Excellent negotiation skills for obtaining favorable contract terms
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Pay:
$70, $100,000.00 per year
