Position Summary:

The Manager, Information Technology - PMO (Project Management Office) will work closely with IT and business leaders to guide the ongoing delivery of technical innovation, project and program management and continuous improvement initiatives from concept through execution.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the PMO function providing some oversight for the successful planning and execution of projects, programs and portfolio development for enterprise acceleration including prioritizing projects, identifying and implementing innovative solutions, and managing change to boost business impact and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage a global dashboard providing comprehensive IT reports, including KPIs, SLAs, financials, and other project portfolio metrics.
  • With guidance, establish and maintain a comprehensive set of PMO practices, tools, and templates for portfolio, program, and projectlevel management.
  • Manage the master schedule tracking and reporting on implementation efforts, including project and program milestones, dependencies, and the IT Master Plan.
  • Manage crossfunctional IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and meeting defined scope and quality standards.
  • Maintain consistency in project planning, monitor progress, and proactively identify issues or risks that may impact project success.
  • Assist in the selection process for technology solutions, guide the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and help assess the most suitable vendors based on business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, overseeing contracts in collaboration with Procurement and Legal departments, and ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and achievements to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure project outcomes align with business needs.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering (or Equivalent Experience).
  • Understanding and experience in rare disease space is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP and\or Lean Six Sigma are _preferred_.
  • Proven track record in project and program management, expertise in financial management, resource management, and organizational change management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of IT systems architecture, governance frameworks, and industry best practices. Multidisciplinary information, process, data, and technology background covering engineering, architecture, automation, integration, data management, advanced analytics, cloud, and others.
  • Understanding of purchasing, budgeting, and planning processes, experience with IT contracts management.
  • Strategic, analytical, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills, especially in managing IT systems in a complex business environment.
