Responsibilities:


  • Resident Event Management: Resident Services Manager is responsible for planning and orchestrating two events every month, including three large scale events each year
  • Brainstorm unique, innovative, and creative events that will attract residents and drive excitement around the property
  • Create a budget for every event, accounting for annual spend and unaccounted expenses; submit budget to Property Manager for approval with itemized costs prior to deadline and purchase needed items
  • Serve as property host for event, providing a warm welcome to residents and directing activities
  • Map out all logistics for event participate in set up and tear down, along with other members of the property staff
  • Social Media Management: Resident Services Manager is responsible for managing property's social media
  • Create engaging monthly posts to increase resident and prospect interaction and interest
  • Respond to resident and prospect comments, always maintaining property's positive and friendly image
  • Support management team during propertywide projects
  • Work with Service Manager at property to orchestrate and execute property's semiannual preventative maintenance, as well as weekly pest control services at the property; this includes creating a schedule, notifying residents (Resident Services Manager creates resident communication via letter that will be delivered to each unit. Language in letters must be clear and concise and must be delivered on time and with enough advanced notice.), and contributing to project's overall success
  • Support other property wide projects, to include (but not limited to) paving, changes in policy, parking updates, inspections, renovations, etc
  • Create and send property wide communication
  • Act as Manager on Duty during some weekends
  • Assist Leasing team with escalated concerns from prospects and residents
  • Coach Leasing Consultants on resident communication
  • Help Support Renewal Process
  • Have up to date knowledge of and adherence to Local and Federal Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws
  • Implement the Van Metre standards of excellence
  • Other tasks assigned by the Property Manager

Qualifications:


  • 1+ years' experience in Property Management field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; position requires a lot of written and face to face communication
  • Ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner is also a necessity
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Individual must have a goaloriented mindset, as well as the drive to grow in their professional development and career
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, Yardi software and other computer skills is a plus
