Location:
New York City (Flatiron area). 5 days/week in the office


Responsibilities:


  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries from potential clients as the first point of contact for immigration and employment matters
  • Conduct initial screening and gather relevant information from prospective clients about their legal matter.
  • Act as a gatekeeper, managing the flow of incoming cases and calls to ensure senior staff capacity is utilized effectively. Further, you must be comfortable screening calls and telling people "no."
  • Maintain detailed documentation and case notes in the firm's intake system.
  • Exhibit an energetic, driven and entrepreneurial approach to maximising potential client conversions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage clients, build rapport and handle high call volumes efficiently.
  • Stay uptodate on the firm's service offerings to accurately assess case fit.
  • Collaborate with Attorneys to help them work on analyzing case files, writing letters, and communicating with clients.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with attorneys and the intake team for seamless case handling.

Experience/Requirements:


  • A highenergy personality who is going to add to the culture we are looking to build at Manifest.
  • Experience working in an Intake role would be ideal but could also consider a background such as HR or Account Management.
  • Experience handling high call volumes and managing incoming inquiries/requests.
  • Ability to speak on the phone throughout the day, including to many people who are experiencing stress and anxiety from a job loss. This will require compassion, and a good level of comfort with speaking on the phone.
  • Strong client service mindset with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and put clients/prospects at ease.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to gather comprehensive case details.
  • Solid judgement and the ability to assess case complexity and determine appropriate routing.
  • Selfmotivated and entrepreneurial approach
  • An ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Must be a fast learner who is not afraid to ask questions.
  • Must have a base level of comfort with computer software used in an office. For example, as part of this role, you will be expected to be comfortable using Google Docs and Google Sheets.
  • Energetic personality able to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
