Description
Mackson is a privately held supplier of fasteners, structural steel, weld wire, fabrications, pipe, tubing, fittings, flanges, and related products in chrome-alloy steel, stainless steel, carbon steel and nickel alloy steels primarily servicing the global nuclear power generation business.
The Company has been in business for over 40 years and is one of the top material suppliers for Nuclear Power Generation.
Mackson operates from its warehouse distribution center located in Rock Hill, SC.Our core competencies that support our continued success are professional project management, comprehensive inventory, worldwide manufacturer relationships, quality programs and our unsurpassed experience and market knowledge.
Work in a team environment reviewing and preparing documentation related to the qualification of fasteners, structural steel, steel pipe, tubing, and other related products for the nuclear power generation industry, ASME, ASTM and customer specifications.
Determine required testing and examinations to qualify material based on material specification, procedural and customer requirements.
Review certifications provided by suppliers, inspection results and test results and determine conformance to material specifications and customer requirements.
Work with customers, suppliers, and 3 rd party testing labs to obtain resolution on issues as they arise.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and generate material certifications from technical data.
Ability to interact with customer, industry, and regulatory audit teams.
Candidates should preferably be familiar with nuclear industry requirements such as: ASME B&PV Code (Section II / III); Candidates with document control and quality records experience are preferred.
Recent college graduates with relevant experience in a related field will be considered.
Candidates should be quality and safety-conscious, detail-oriented and have previous experience handling documentation of a technical nature.
Excellent time management skills as well as effective and efficient planning abilities.
