The Thermoforming Process Technician troubleshoots all thermoforming jobs, improves cycle times and setup times, and establishes consistency and repeatability on all shifts.

They maintain all set up sheets related to each cell. The Process Technician trains thermoforming and trim cell operators in general operation, setup, and troubleshooting.

Serves as primary resource for setup and troubleshooting of forming and trimming operations.
Ensures sample and first production runs meet customer requirements and organizational goals and objectives.
Creates and reviews set up sheets, work instructions, sample parts, preliminary QC documents, and all other related documentation, including troubleshooting notes and QC documentation, on an ongoing basis.
Evaluates manufacturing processes for potential margin improvement relating but not limited to cell layout, reduction of scrap, decreased setup/change over times, cost reduction initiatives.
Drives continuous improvement activities and assists in the maintenance of equipment and tools to maximize process efficiencies.
Ensures conformance with all quality procedures and processes, such as first piece approvals and work instructions.
Trains and develops operators in operation, setup, and troubleshooting of thermoforming, CNC, and robotic machines.
Responds to Corrective Action requests related to process improvements suggestions.
Uses inspection equipment such as calipers, height gauges, tape measures, etc. to check and verify work with work order and print.
Serves as Backup to Thermoforming Lead.
