Job Duties


The Deputy Clerk (Grade 11) Supervisor in the Civil Division is responsible for supervising employees, training of new employees and assigned operational responsibilities in a fast paced, high-volume office with multi-tasking and frequent deadlines.

Ensures court's instructions are executed and legal documents are prepared with accuracy and in accordance with the state and local policies and procedures.

Must be committed to responding to customers and co-workers with a friendly, courteous, and positive can-do attitude and a desire to work in a team environment.


Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful applicants will have considerable court, business, or office related experience to include supervisory experience. Applicants should be highly organized and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced knowledge of office automation systems and computer software required. Excellent customer service skills and retail cash handling experience preferred. Experience working in a leadership role and overseeing multiple employees as a supervisor is a plus.

This position could require long periods of standing at the public counter or filing for periods up to 8 hours per day.

Must be able to bend and lift to retrieve files.
