• Experience and Requirements_
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Planning (or similar equivalent field).
• AICP and/or PP license or an interest/goal to obtain them.
• 15 years of experience in Land Development, Zoning, and Planning.
• Understanding of zoning ordinances, Municipal Land Use Law, Master Planning, Affordable Housing, and Redevelopment Plans in New Jersey.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, but not required.
• Primary Duties and Responsibilities._
• Working with the Director of planning to support municipal clients in writing Master Plans, Redevelopment Plans, Housing Plans, and Investigation Studies.
• Assisting in drafting amendments to zoning ordinances.
• Preparing visuals and presentations for public meetings.
• Creating streetscape and architectural design standards.
• Present reports to municipal officials and staff, and the general public.
