Agile Product Owner

Location:
Herndon, VA

  • Develop and communicate product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements and features
  • Maintain a clear and concise product roadmap
  • Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is aligned with the product strategy
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure the team understands the requirements
  • Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog based on feedback and changing requirements
  • Work closely with development team to ensure a clear understanding of the product vision and goals
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, customers, business leaders, and development teams
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all productrelated queries
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings to help define sprint goals and select backlog items
  • Ensure the development team has a clear understanding of the requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Monitor and review sprint progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
  • Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, changes, and upcoming features
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and customers to improve the product
  • Conduct product demonstrations and reviews to showcase completed features and gather feedback
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to ensure the product remains competitive

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification
  • Experience in [specific industry or technology relevant to the company]
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products in a fastpaced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Salary:
$120,000-$160,000


Pay:
$120, $160,000.00 per year

Ability to Relocate:
