YOU GET PAID TO PLAY

Kidokinetics is a mobile sports program. We introduce sports to kids in a FUN and non
- competitive way teaching children the fundamentals of ALL sports for children 2 to 12 years old. Programs are conducted at schools, parks or community centers. Looking for a coach to serve the Peninsula Bay Area


JOB SUMMARY


The coach is responsible for implementing the Kidokinetics curriculum, ensuring each child has a positive and successful Kidokinetics experience, and is responsible for the well being of each student who attends a Kidokinetics class.

The coach assumes the role of coach, friend, guide, disciplinarian, and mentor.

Ultimately it is the coach's responsibility to carry out the mission of Kidokinetics:
helping children enhance coordination, concentration, and fine/gross motor skills in a fun and non-competitive environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares events, activities, lessons, games, and classes in accordance with the guidelines of Kidokinetics Inc.
  • Abides by the safety guidelines of Kidokinetics Inc. at all times
  • Conducts classes in an enthusiastic, nurturing manner
  • Arrives to each class prepared with the appropriate lesson plans, equipment, supplies and other materials
  • Set up a sign and/or banner for display at the location
  • Takes care of equipment and supplies
  • Monitors temperature of classrooms and facilities (if applicable)
  • Makes every effort to connect oneonone with each child
  • Addresses concerns or special needs for children and caregivers
  • Proper use of Kidolink for all reports, attendance sheets, registration forms, etc. accurately and on time
  • Is a good role model for young children physically, emotionally, and socially
  • Works as part of a team
  • Provides an environment of acceptance that supports and respects cultural differences
  • Sets clear, consistent limits, has realistic expectations, and uses positive methods of child guidance
  • Provides opportunities for each child to develop feelings of competence, selfesteem, and a positive attitude toward physical activity and learning
  • Participates in training to improve skills and professional competencies

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma
  • Experience working with children
  • Sports related background is a plus
  • Enthusiastic and Outgoing Personality
  • Organized and Detail Oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal with children, directors and parents
  • Valid driver's license and must have reliable mode of transportation we are mobile program
  • Must pass a level 2 background to be considered for employment
Please respond ONLY if you have experience teaching or coaching preschool aged children.

Starting pay rate is $22/hr, some drive time and mileage will also be reimbursed. Commission & bonuses may apply.

Full time hours available as business grows.
