Talis Healthcare is quickly growing and looking to hire a FULL TIME Registered Nurse for our Infusion Centers.

This position is responsible for providing, coordinating, and assuring comprehensive infusion care using nursing processes and pertinent standards of care.

We are looking for someone who can provide compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Texas state statutes and Talis Healthcare bylaws.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide safe, comprehensive, and compassionate clinical care including performing patient assessment, drug administration according to prescription and protocol, managing infusion reactions, and completing follow up care.
  • Provide patient clinical coordination among patient, prescriber, intake team, and purchasing team
  • Collaborate and confer with Medical Director/Nurse Practitioner on staff regarding patient status, drug management issues, and/or treatment needs
  • Provide patient education regarding disease state, medication regimen, and identification/management of infusion related symptoms.
  • Document all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process and training activities in a timely manner using company issued tools
  • Train patients in the selfadministration of treatments as prescribed
  • Complete training for each specialty infusion therapy

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines
  • Ability to be selfdirected, extremely organized and detail oriented requiring mínimal supervision
  • Demonstrates safe and effective peripheral line placement
  • Demonstrates safe and effective port access
  • Draws and interprets vital signs accurately
  • Responsible for thorough electronic charting
  • Ability to lift and perform repetitive motions

Qualifications:


  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • BSN preferred
  • Current and valid Registered Nursing license
  • At least two years of relevant working experience that must include at least one year as a specialized RN in infusion suite/center or home infusion environment
  • Critical care experience preferred
  • Current and valid Basic Life Support certification required
  • Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements.

Pay:
$ $45.00 per hour
