- Receive email and telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers, sales reps, or various internal departments.
- Work directly with Sales Representatives and other resources to help with lead and opportunity management, to keep all relevant data and information updated for forecasting.
- Take an active role in weekly sales and marketing meetings.
- Support the sales team in growth of our primary territories.
- Review and publish weekly sales reports and ensure deals are updated.
- Assist in accessing vendor portal reports and data collection.
- Actively work with various teams to ensure all the required sales documents are compiled so that the order process may be initiated.
- Responsible for working in vendor & distributor tools to complete the registrations for quotes/deals, and to verify costs.
- Assist the Sales team in getting the data required to complete quotes and presentations.
- Frequent interaction with sales, presales, finance, and service delivery to assist in high quality customer outcomes related to sales.
- Assist in CRM database management and reporting
- Assist in sales and marketing event planning and execution
- 2 years experience in closely related sales support or related end user sales assignments
- 2-year degree from an accredited institution.
- Possesses a Sales biased mindset and understands how to positively impact Sales and order completion velocity.
- Product and recurring bookings experience are preferred or proven knowledge in other similar positions.
- Knowledge of vendor partner programs and processes.
- Working understanding of an order process, ensuring when quotes are being built that all content is captured, and orders are submitted accurately and in a timely manner
- Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint experience.
- Knowledge of standard business processes sales processes or ability to quickly learn.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving/dispute resolution skills required.
