    Field Service Engineer

    Location:
    Buffalo, NY

    Contract Type: 12-month contract

    Hourly Rate:
    $35-$45, dependent on experience

    Exciting opportunity The Green Recruitment Company is actively seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer for a leading role at Utility Scale Solar PV Sites in Buffalo, NY.

    This 12-month contract offers an hourly rate ranging from $35 to $45, tailored to your level of expertise in the field of renewable energy.


    About the Role:


    As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and optimization of large-scale solar PV installations in the Buffalo area.

    This position involves hands-on technical work, requiring a proactive approach to system troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support.

    It's a fantastic opportunity for those who thrive in dynamic outdoor environments and are passionate about contributing to sustainable energy solutions.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems to ensure they operate at maximum efficiency.

    Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, providing quick and sustainable solutions.

    Monitor system performance and implement strategies for improvement.

    Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, creating comprehensive reports on system status.

    Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to enhance site operations and service delivery.

    Provide expert technical support and advice to clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and system reliability.


    Requirements:
    Proven track record as a Field Service Engineer, with specific experience in solar or renewable energy systems.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical and efficient solutions.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients and team members.

    Ability to manage multiple tasks in various environments and adapt to changing conditions.

    Technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology, or a related field.
