- Requirement analysis for modeling micro-friction in connectors
- Research on micro-friction models and evaluation of their suitability for connectors
- Selection of a suitable FE modeling strategy
- Possible implementation of micro-friction models in exemplary FE models
- Parameter determination for selected contacts on existing test benches
- Evaluation of the selected FE modeling strategy on suitable practical examples
- Derivation of further action needs
- Documentation of work
Your profile:
- Studies in the field of modeling and numerical simulation, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, physics or similar fields
- Experience with Ansys Workbench, Matlab and Python
- Knowledge of the finite element method, measurement technology and dynamics
- Independent and reliable working style
- Enjoyment of implementing new concepts and ideas
