    Pay range: $17/hr. - $22/hr. based on experience/certification

    Responsibilities


    Hours of operation: 7am-3:30pm and occasionally 9am-5:30pm. Some weekends required

    JOB SUMMARY

    • Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist will perform delegated tasks as authorized by Florida Statutes chapter to facilitate the accurate and timely filling of prescriptions and medication orders.
    • Pharmacy technicians assist licensed pharmacists provide medication and other pharmaceuticals products to patients.
    • Technicians refer questions regarding prescriptions, drug information, or health matters to a pharmacist.

    Qualifications



  • Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Registered pharmacy technician with State of Florida
  • Skills:
    • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
    • Florida driver's license and reliable automobile transportation are required.
    • Good communication skills and computer use required
  • Professional Requirements:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
