Description

What are your main tasks?

  • Support and participation in the preparation of offers (e.g. obtaining offers for major works and main components, determining delivery times)
  • Participation/contribution to project kickoff meetings as well as project update meetings/teleconferences
  • Contact person for project managers and department heads for project-related procurement issues
  • Active support in initiating the procurement process for long-term components, e.g. by defining long-term components and obtaining information on process-critical procurement times, including tendering with defined reference parts/groups in advance
  • Coordination of purchasing activities within the purchasing department and AV for the respective project
  • Ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines and initiating suitable and necessary measures through information and involvement of project management and department heads
  • Order processing (inquiry, negotiation, award, deadline tracking) for all major components and major works in the project, including data maintenance in the ERP system

What do we expect from you?

  • Completed degree in business or technical field (ideally in mechanical engineering)
  • Excellent understanding of technical and commercial relationships
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the field of mechanical and plant engineering, as well as knowledge of legal framework conditions
