Delaware Elevator Manufacturing is a growing manufacturer of elevator equipment, providing equipment to national and international elevator contractors. The Cab Shop Laborer role would entail assisting skilled woodworkers in the production and installation of custom elevator interiors.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Essential Functions Statement(s): Assist manufacturing team with the following:

Operation of various wood shop equipment to include several saws, routers, drill presses, and joinery equipment used to create custom wood interiors for elevator cabs/ cars.
Assembly and installation of interiors using fasteners, glue, and other hardware.
Shop upkeep to include sweeping, removal of trash, and organization of materials.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

2 or more years of experience in finish carpentry preferred.
Ability to perform general physical activities/ fitfor duties that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials with fine manipulation.
Strong safety mentality.
