THE GIST:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer, monitor, and manage the ecommerce platforms and systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Coordinate with the product and developments teams to configure, update, and integrate new products and features into our ecommerce solution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Analyze platform data to optimize performance, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
- Ensure system security by enforcing policies, monitoring access, and protecting information from unauthorized access.
- Work closely with vendors and thirdparty service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in training staff and stakeholders on platform usage and best practices.
- Maintain a working knowledge of emerging ecommerce technologies and trends
- Set up and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard content and configurations in case of data loss or system failures.
- User Support: Provide support to content authors and developers, helping them with any technical issues or questions related to AEM.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor the AEM platform for performance issues and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
- Ensure ecommerce platforms comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, e.g. PCI, GDRP, CCPA, etc.
- Adjust and plan for future growth and scalability, making sure that the infrastructure can accommodate increasing demands
- Track applicable licenses, service agreements, contract renewals, invoices etc. to ensure uninterrupted operation of the platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience with platform and/or system administration including:
- user management and permissions
- security patching and updates
- data backup and restore
- 1+ years of experience with a major ecommerce platform such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce/Magento
- Experience administrating a platform as part of integrated headless (i.e. APIbased) solution a plus
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
