THE GIST:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer, monitor, and manage the ecommerce platforms and systems ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Coordinate with the product and developments teams to configure, update, and integrate new products and features into our ecommerce solution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Analyze platform data to optimize performance, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure system security by enforcing policies, monitoring access, and protecting information from unauthorized access.
  • Work closely with vendors and thirdparty service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in training staff and stakeholders on platform usage and best practices.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of emerging ecommerce technologies and trends
  • Set up and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard content and configurations in case of data loss or system failures.
  • User Support: Provide support to content authors and developers, helping them with any technical issues or questions related to AEM.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor the AEM platform for performance issues and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
  • Ensure ecommerce platforms comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, e.g. PCI, GDRP, CCPA, etc.
  • Adjust and plan for future growth and scalability, making sure that the infrastructure can accommodate increasing demands
  • Track applicable licenses, service agreements, contract renewals, invoices etc. to ensure uninterrupted operation of the platforms

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years experience with platform and/or system administration including:
  • user management and permissions
- performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- security patching and updates
- data backup and restore

  • 1+ years of experience with a major ecommerce platform such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce/Magento
  • Experience administrating a platform as part of integrated headless (i.e. APIbased) solution a plus
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
