THE GIST:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer, monitor, and manage the ecommerce platforms and systems ensuring high availability and performance.
Coordinate with the product and developments teams to configure, update, and integrate new products and features into our ecommerce solution.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
Analyze platform data to optimize performance, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
Ensure system security by enforcing policies, monitoring access, and protecting information from unauthorized access.
Work closely with vendors and thirdparty service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist in training staff and stakeholders on platform usage and best practices.
Maintain a working knowledge of emerging ecommerce technologies and trends
Set up and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard content and configurations in case of data loss or system failures.
User Support: Provide support to content authors and developers, helping them with any technical issues or questions related to AEM.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor the AEM platform for performance issues and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
Ensure ecommerce platforms comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, e.g. PCI, GDRP, CCPA, etc.
Adjust and plan for future growth and scalability, making sure that the infrastructure can accommodate increasing demands
Track applicable licenses, service agreements, contract renewals, invoices etc. to ensure uninterrupted operation of the platforms

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years experience with platform and/or system administration including:
user management and permissions

- performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- security patching and updates
- data backup and restore

1+ years of experience with a major ecommerce platform such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce/Magento
Experience administrating a platform as part of integrated headless (i.e. APIbased) solution a plus
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
