Cuningham seeks a results-driven Human Resources Business Partner, with a keen focus on talent, to share in our vision to dream big, be daring, and create change.

Reporting to the Executive Director of People, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for collaborating with the HR team, supervisors and firm leaders to implement enterprise-wide people processes.

This role will focus on talent acquisition and talent management.


What you will do:


  • Build Cuningham's employment brand in our communities and with key universities, networking, and industry organizations.
  • Oversee the performance review and feedback process to drive high performance, implement HR technology to simplify and streamline feedback channels.
  • Support and engage supervisors in employee feedback and performance improvement efforts.
  • Meet with leadership to discuss personnel issues, concerns or actions needed; help facilitate resolution.
  • Drive and support the design and implementation of HR best practices that create a high performing and engaging firm culture.
  • Support crossfunctional needs and special projects within the People Practice.
  • Nurture a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment.

What we look for:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 815 years of progressive HR experience in HR generalistoriented roles; specialty experience focused on talent acquisition and talent development preferred. Experience working in the AEC industry or professional services preferred.
  • Ability to build and effectively manage relationships at all levels of the firm, both inperson and virtually, that facilitates open dialogue and trust.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Handson experience optimizing HR systems and tools; Paycom HRIS and Lever ATS experience ideal.
  • Previous experience working for a multistate employer and navigating compliance issues including pay transparency.
$90,000 - $130,000 a year

  • Compensation provided is based on our national range which varies by work location and may also depend on accreditation, experience and responsibilities. Our talent management team can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
