    :

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Oil and Gas Sales to lead our sales team and drive strategic initiatives in the oil and gas industry.

    The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in sales leadership, along with a deep understanding of the energy sector.

    As Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, fostering relationships with key clients, and steering our company towards continued growth in the marketplace.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the oil and gas industry.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key clients in the oil and gas sector.
    • Understand industry-specific landscapes and trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients' needs are met.
    • Oversee and drive the sales team to achieve sales objectives through training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
    • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the management team, using key sales data to inform decisions.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's products and services.
    • Coordinate with the operations and finance departments to ensure customer satisfaction and proper sales account management.
    • Set individual sales targets with the sales team and monitor performance to ensure the achievement of these targets.
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
    • Work closely with the product development team to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary technical knowledge and materials.
    • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards within the sales processes.
    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the oil and gas industry
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans
    • Strong understanding of the oil and gas market, trends, and key players
    • Experience in negotiating and closing large-scale contracts
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
    • Proficient in CRM software and sales management tools
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
    • Willingness to travel
    • Knowledge of current technologies and practices in the oil and gas industry
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • High level of integrity and professionalism
    • Lubricant knowledge/experience preferred but not required
