Job Summary

  • The IT (General) job family provides the means, methods and solutions needed to support the efficient collection, storage, transfer, manipulation, analysis and reporting of data as well as the need to deliver information for use by decision makers.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and may take lead on smaller initiatives or work items such as the design and/or development of software, hardware, or network solutions, or IT operations and services with limited resource requirements, and/or complexity.
  • Performs portions of development, support, maintenance and implementation of small to medium, noncomplex systems requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience.
  • Analyzes system issues and user requirements and needs and makes decisions to find solutions within defined parameters or escalates to manager.
  • Receives regular and general instruction, guidance, and direction from others on IT projects in the form of specific objectives.
  • Interacts with others to inform and provide suggestions for action.

Education & Experience Recommended**- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 24 years of work experience or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
