Security Officer

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.


No experience necessary If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide a high level of customer service while monitoring premises to maintain a safe and
secure environment

  • Promote a secure environment through regular patrol and response to emergencies and incidents, including medical emergencies and other unwanted behavior
  • Write detailed incident reports
  • Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering premise
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Skills:

Valid Florida D-License required

  • Ability to use a Computer required
  • Experience with CCTV and Access Control preferred
  • Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour


Expected hours: 32 to 40 per week
