We are currently seeking a Braided Day Instructor for our Santa Maria location**_Schedule: Monday
- Friday 9:00am4:00pm_**
Responsibilities: - Provide continuous instruction for independent community and vocational skills objectives that correspond with individuals' abilities and development.
- Ensure compliance with Individual's ISP and services stated in the Service Design, and supply instructions and techniques as necessary.
- Teach and promote proper activities and appropriate use of time.
- Coordinate, document, and review activity schedules for individuals served.
- Instruct individuals on achieving and maintaining adaptive skills and appropriate behaviors.
Qualifications:
- Valid California driver's license _(driving is required for this position)_
- Ability to pass a LiveScan background check
- Reliable transportation
- Patience, compassion, and ability to be a role model for adults with disabilities
Compensation:
Anticipated hiring range is $19.00 per hour plus perks + benefits
