    Job Title: - Calibration Technician

    Location: - Irving, TX

    Duration: - 12 Months of Contract (with possible extension)

    Description:

    • Responsible for performing calibration functions on all testing and measuring equipment throughout all Manufacturing and Research operations.
    • This position impacts upon the accuracy of the company's measurement and process equipment, subsequent product quality and is essential to meeting Quality Systems Requirements and other compliance requirements.
    • The Calibration Technician performs precise calibrations per written and automated procedures on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures as defined by the calibration schedule.
    • On equipment that cannot be maintained internally, coordinates the calibration with a certified outside source.
    • Maintains clear and concise records to facilitate timely problem identification, development of department procedures, and to comply with internal and external regulations.
    • Education min. – High School Diploma / GED or Associates Degree (an equivalent combination of education and work experience, too) Experience min. – 0-3 years of related work experience. Top 5 skills/requirements - ISO17025 knowledge Metrology background Calibration background Purchase Order experience Communication skills with external vendors skillset that complimented the role- Attention to Detail, Usage of Equipment Tracking System, Metrology background (dimensional, electronic, mechanical) Confirm interview preferences : phone for first interview screen with manager; onsite for second interview with employees and face-to-face with manager.
