UGA Finance is a growing financial technology company that offers consumers credit options at the point of sale. We are a leader in providing financing and servicing for unsecured lending in key verticals, including Education, Medical, Membership and Consumer Goods.

The Compliance Analyst will collaborate with subject matter experts in the organization to ensure that the company is meeting the highest standards of regulatory and policy compliance. The Compliance Analyst will develop and execute internal audits by examining records, reports, and operating practices, against established controls to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Performs analysis of existing processes and data and applies observations toward developing, maintaining, revising, and auditing operating policies and procedures.
Audit systems to verify accuracy and completeness of records and review trending and corrective actions to determine reasonable and effective resolutions are implemented.
Ability to read and interpret federal regulations, state statutes, guidance documents, technical manuals, handbooks, forms and related instruction guides.
Conduct process owner interviews and assist in documenting end-to-end procedures for in-scope processes; updating existing documentation as changes occur.
Assist process owners with workflow/procedure documents to maintain uniformity.
Participate in unannounced mock audits or walkthroughs with process owners to ensure process and control documentation is correct.
Track corrective actions to ensure all actions are completed and properly documented.
Bachelors degree, Associates degree, or equivalent experience required
Proficient in Word, Excel, and strong computer skills.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are a must.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees both verbally and in writing.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational, management, and problem solving skills
Flexible approach to new projects, requirements, and workplace demands
