Your work environment

The Federal Employment Agency operates around 300 job centers nationwide in cooperation with local authorities. The main tasks of the job centers are providing benefits and facilitating employment and training opportunities.

The clients often face complex problems, and the goal is always to support their return to work and social participation.

If you are looking for a job in a social environment with customer contact, diverse tasks, and situations, then apply as a specialist for benefit provision and maintenance at the job center.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Your tasks include providing advice on maintenance law to recipients of assistance, including examining self-help options.

You will also assess and determine the economic capacity of the maintenance obligation group, taking into account ongoing maintenance proceedings and existing maintenance claims.

You will work closely with internal departments (e.g., the benefits department) and external agencies (e.g., youth and social welfare agencies or housing benefit offices).

Additionally, you will handle ongoing tasks in your assigned area. You will frequently work with specialized computer programs, electronic files, and therefore, with many digital documents.
