Job Summary:
The Field Technician will provide rough and trim installations and set-up for residential new-construction low voltage systems.
The position requires strong technical ability and a high level of motivation to deliver on multiple projects daily in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Rough and trim installation and setup of various residential low voltage systems including a/v, security, networking, vacuums, and others as described in the work order and accompanying diagrams.
- Promptly address routine communications between parties on topics such as missing or damaged items, diagram conflicts, or schedule issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Escalate issues and inquiries to the appropriate person(s) as needed.
- Maintain clean jobsites while working, and removal of debris at the completion of the job.
- Adhere to both industry and companyspecific safety policies and procedures, and the ability to complete the company's safety training program.
- Assist other departments and perform additional tasks as required or requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years combined experience in low voltage residential installations including home integration systems, a/v, security, networking, and cabling infrastructure, and the ability to read diagrams (preferred).
- Industryspecific certifications (such as wiring terminations or Lutron Homeworks) a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational, timemanagement, and multitasking skills and an attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- A valid driver's license, clean MVR, and reliable transportation.
Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
