Career Transitions is supporting a high growth manufacturing company located in Benton Harbor. They have an opening on their team for a Financial Accountant. This role supports the Assistant Controller and is responsible for all aspects of Accounting including Receivables, Payables, Month-End Closing and preparing ad-hoc financial reports.

Financial Accountant duties and responsibilities:

Accounts payable duties including the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.
Accounts receivable duties including invoicing, cash application and collections.
Payroll processing, Month-end closing, GL entries and reconciliation and Journal entries.
Assisting with audits and preparation of tax related reports and documentation

Financial Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Three years of Accounting experience, manufacturing environment a plus.
ERP Accounting System experience with demonstrated MS Office skills.
