- In this position, you will analyze and model all aspects of defensive weapons systems, including: flight dynamics; both traditional and novel navigation and communications systems; onboard sensors; Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) systems, radar s, and EO/IR sensors.
- Tasks may include system analysis, model definition, algorithm characterization and development, coding of models, use of simulations to conduct studies and reporting of results, and development and maintenance of digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulation architectures.
- Active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a closely related degree program from an accredited institution, and 5+ years of professional experience. A Master's degree and 3+ years of experience or a Ph.D. will also be considered.
- Good written and oral communication skills, as well as a desire to work with a highly technical team including classified customers.
- Experience with 6-DoF batch and/or real-time simulation architectures, and their use in Monte Carlo and parametric simulation study design and analysis. Experience with OMEGA, ITASE, or TMAP modeling is especially desirable.
- Experience with any aspects of missile systems, including: ballistic, maneuvering, surface-to-air, and anti-satellite missiles.
- Experience with EO/IR or radar systems and sensors.
- Competency in C++, Python, MATLAB, Simulink or a similar modern programming language.
