The Max Planck Institute for Molecular Plant Physiology in Potsdam is currently seeking an apprentice as a specialist in computer science for system integration. The institute's research focuses on the molecular processes that determine the growth and development of plants. With over 300 employees from all over the world, the institute offers a diverse and international work environment.
What to expect:
- Planning, setting up, and maintaining Windows clients
- Providing first-level user support
- Expanding, maintaining, and customizing the network infrastructure
- Training and instructing users
- Setting up Linux clients and servers
- Monitoring and overseeing systems
Requirements:
- Completed secondary education or high school diploma with good grades in natural sciences and German
- Technical understanding and interest in network technology
- Good knowledge of English is advantageous
- High willingness to learn and commitment
- Enjoyment of working with people and reliability
