Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Coordinator to join our team. The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Functions:_

• Process all purchase orders (POs) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for POs, checking all orders for special requests and shipping paperwork.
• Coordinate with the Shipping/Receiving Lead and prioritize any timesensitive or expedited shipping requests.
• Ensure accurate counts of all incoming and outgoing POs; assist in resolving any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain good working relationships with vendors.
• Gather, organize and file all data and records relative to receiving activities.
• Package parts properly to ensure quality is maintained during transportation.
• Count parts and product accurately and label packaging properly.
• Ability to properly use hand trucks to move pallets around warehouse and also load and unload trucks.
• Properly complete paperwork associated with job to maintain accuracy within the company's system.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adherence to standard operation procedures and health and safety expectations.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Experience:_

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking, order fulfillment, and inventory management processes.
• Ability to load, unload, and move packages of various sizes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math skills for quantity verification.

• Powered industrial truck/equipment certificate (In house training)
