    Position Location: We're all about flexibility This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.

    Ocean Spray is seeking an Associate Brand Manager for our Foods team overseeing the base Dried Fruit & Snacking business. In this role, you will be part of a passionate group of consumer-obsessed marketers working to build Cranberry love and lead the growth of our Foods portfolio. The position is based in Massachusetts, either in our Boston office (Seaport) or at our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA.

    The Associate Brand Manager will play a critical role on our Foods team leading all consumption and panel reporting as well as providing key insights to drive brand direction across the 4Ps. You will lead cross-functional teams for line-extensions, cost-savings initiatives, and graphics within the base portfolio. Additionally, you will help support marketing communications and messaging for the brand, working closely with internal and external agency partners. We are looking for an energetic and intellectually curious marketer who is ready to hit the ground running and drive growth across our dried fruit and snacking business.

    A Day in the Life...

    • Serve as a key member of Foods team, responsible for supporting Sr. Brand Manager and Sr. Director on all aspects of business ownership, including base product renovation, marketing communication strategy, packaging design, and product forecasting
    • Responsible for tracking and reporting on weekly consumption data and internal shipment metrics, making recommendations to team on follow-ups/actions needed
    • Support development of monthly and quarterly business updates, annual marketing plans and semi-annual Sales materials
    • Responsible for management of multimillion-dollar Foods budget, including invoice tracking, monthly accruals, and budget reporting
    • Develop, own and monitor channel-specific forecasts for core Foods products, as part of Ocean Spray's monthly demand planning process
    • Communication and Messaging: Own key pieces of Foods brand marketing activations collaborating with internal cross-functional partners, as well as external agencies on all stages of the project
    • Champion key projects within the base Foods business including line extensions, margin optimization projects, and graphics updates
    What We Are Looking For:
    • Bachelor's in business or marketing is required. An MBA is preferred.
    • Candidate must have 2-3+ years of work experience in CPG brand management or with a marketing/strategic management consultancy
    • Strong proficiency with IRI / Nielsen data. Ability to sift through large amounts of data to uncover true drivers behind the "why" and tell the story in a succinct way
    • Previous exposure to business unit P&L ownership, a plus
    • Candidates must possess basic knowledge of marketing practices and principles.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence without authority
    • Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, comfortable being both analytic and creative
    • Candidates should be self-starters who have demonstrated personal and thought leadership capabilities in prior responsibilities.
    Education:
    Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)

    Master's Degree (Preferred)
