Overview
The Packer is responsible for ensuring the order is accurate and packing it for shipping.


Essential Functions

• Packs parts for customer orders, maintaining the established processes for good practices
• Maintains orderly housekeeping of assigned area
• Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned and/or needed

Non-essential functions

• Cover other positions as needed

Required Qualifications and Education

• 1 year experience in warehouse/Distribution Center environment preferred
• Ability to work well in a team
• Good organizational skills
• Good time management skills
• Ability to stand and walk the entire shift
• Ability to climb stairs
• Experience using a hand held RF scanner
• REQUIRED SHIFT 11:00am3pm or 3pm7pm Monday through Wednesday, possibility of working Thursday and Friday if desired & needed.

Warehouse rules require employees to seek help with heavy or bulky packages exceeding 55 lbs.; package size must be a consideration when deciding help is needed.

• Must be able to move up to 80 pounds
• Must be able to reach a maximum height of 6 feet
• Must be able to handle a 2lb handheld device
• Must be able to move about inside the warehouse
• Must be able to communicate verbally and written
• Must be able to read from a screen
